WILKES-BARRE - The Wilkes University women's soccer team will be traveling to Brazil in August, a trip made possible by an extensive fundraising effort. During their visit, players will participate in training sessions, experience Brazil's unique culture, and volunteer their time doing community service.

WILKES-BARRE – Wilkes University women’s tennis player Melanie Nolt has received a scholarship from the Novo Nordisk Donnelly Awards, given annually to young competitive tennis players who have diabetes.

The Wilkes University men’s tennis team will be making its third-straight trip to the NCAA Tournament after defeating Manhattanville in the finals of the Freedom Conference Team Championship. Despite losing two-of-three doubles matches, the Colonels came back to win 5-3.
