Both teams are 3-1 and are coming off conference losses, with Lebanon Valley falling to Delaware Valley last Saturday 28-21, and Wilkes losing to Albright 43-21.

Wilkes leads the series 22-15, but the last meeting between the two teams ended in defeat for the Colonels 28-21. In that game Charlie Parker compiled 278 yards and two touchdowns on the ground for the Dutchmen, while Wilkes quarterback Rob Johnson (Bridegwater, N.J./Bridgewater) threw for 218 yards and three touchdowns.

This year the Dutchmen have two halfbacks with over 300 yards in Ben Guiles and Charlie Parker. Combined they are averaging over six yards per rush and have five touchdowns on the year.

Wilkes is led by senior quarterback Rob Johnson (Bridegwater, N.J./Bridgewater) who has accumulated 859 yards passing and four touchdowns so far in 2009. He has a 122.6 efficiency rating and is averaging 215 yards through the air per contest.

His main target this season has been Jordan D'Emilio (Stowe/Saint Pius X) who has 26 catches for 310 yards on the year. On the ground Wilkes is led by the one-two combination of Zach Tivald (Edison, NJ/Edison) and Harry Reese (Plymouth, PA/Wyoming Valley West) who have combined for 238 yards and four touchdowns.

Wilkes has won 15 of their last 16 match-ups with Lebanon Valley, and will look to grab their first conference win of the season against the Dutchmen on homecoming. The game begins at 1:00 p.m. at Ralston Field in Edwardsville, Pa.
