BASEBALLERS TO FACE ALVERNIA AT 12:30 P.M. SATURDAY

Due to heavy rains in the area, the Wilkes University baseball team's game against Alvernia in the Freedom Conference Championship has been postponed until tomorrow at 12:30 p.m.
The two teams were oringinally scheduled to play at 7:30 p.m. in Boyertown. The Colonels enter the tournament as the No. 2 seed, while Alvernia is the No. 3 seed. Top-seeded Manhattanville was scheduled to play No. 4 seed FDU-Florham at 4 p.m., but that game was pushed back until 9 p.m. tonight. If their game is unable to be played, they will play at 9 a.m. tomorrow morning and push back the Wilkes/Alvernia start time.
The winner of the Freedom Conference Championship Tournament will recieve an automatic bid to the NCAA National Tournament.
