Wilkes MAC Winter Academic Honor Roll

The Wilkes University athletic department had eight student-athletes make the Middle Atlantic Conference Winter Academic Honor Roll for their performance in the classroom.

The honor roll comprises those student-athletes of sophomore class standing or higher who participated in a varsity-level sport and registered a cumulative grade point average of 3.20 or higher and completed the playing season in good standing.

Six members of the men's basketball team were recognized, while the women's basketball team had two players honored. The members of the men's team includes: Greg Colucci (Brick, NJ/Monsignor Donovan), Mike Donatoni (Malvern, Pa./Great Valley), Anthony Gabriel (Mechanicsburg, Pa./Trinity), Chris Gulla (Berlin, N.J./Eastern Regional), Kendall Hinze (Lewisberry, PA/Red Land) and Paul Huch (Tuckerton, NJ/Pinelands Regional).

The two women's players honored were Brittany Ely (Montrose, Pa./Montrose) and Whitney Connolly (Liberty, PA/Liberty).
