WILKES-BARRE – Wilkes University head men's basketball coach Jerry Rickrode has announced his recruiting class for the 2010-11 season.
Six student-athletes will be joining the Colonels, including Matthew Mullins, a transfer of Division I Binghamton University by way of Broome Community College in New York. Out of the six, two hail from Pennsylvania and New Jersey and one each from New York and Virginia.
"A great deal of work went into attaining a recruiting class of this caliber,” said Rickrode. “We feel this class is a combination of very good basketball players and quality people. They will represent our institution in a very positive fashion both on and off the court."
The Colonels tip off the season on November 15 when they travel to face Penn State-Hazleton.
