This past Thursday evening, several members of the Wilkes University cross country teams participated and volunteered at one of the letter reading sessions for Valley Santa. Valley Santa is an organization that provides gifts to needing children during the holidays. 

Cross country members Chris Manzi (Toms River, N.J./Toms River ), Chris Gustavson, Michelle Wakeley (Endicott, N.Y./Union-Endicott), Stephanie Smith (Drums, Pa./Hazleton), Austin Loukas (Windham, Maine/Windham), Kirsten Cook, Olivia Waszkiewicz (Sauquoit, N.Y./Sauquoit) and Michael Piotti (Williamstown, N.J./Williamstown) participated in the event.

The teams plan on visiting the organization again in the near future.
