Two weeks after receiving first team All-Freedom Conference honors, Jenna and Cassie DiSabatino (Mountaintop, Pa./Crestwood) were named to the Division III All-Rookie Team according to womensfieldhockey.com.

The sisters from Mountaintop, Pa. had standout and record-breaking performances in the 2009 season. Jenna led the Lady Colonels in goals with 18 as well as assists with 14, while Cassie, who missed three games due to injury, had five goals and 10 assists on the year.

The twins either assisted or scored on 66% of the Wilkes goals in the 2009 campaign, and were a major reason for the 15 games won by the Lady Colonels. They also combined for five game-winning goals and 80 shots on goal.

With the return of Jenna and Cassie, as well as multiple other starters from the 2009 field hockey team, Wilkes will be a force in the Freedom Conference for years to come.
