Days after being honored to the Division III All-Rookie team, Wilkes freshman Jenna DiSabatino (Mountaintop, Pa./Crestwood) was recently named the 2009 ECAC Division III Mid-Atlantic Rookie of the Year in a Nov. 30 news release.

The freshman from Mountaintop, Pa. had a record-setting 50 points on the season with 18 goals and 14 assists. She was the main offensive threat for a Wilkes team that went 18-4 in 2009.

Along with being named the Rookie of the Year, DiSabatino was a First Team All-Star Selection, the only player from the Freedom Conference to receive the honor.
