Troy Gibson (Sinking Spring, Pa./Wilson) was named to the All-Freedom Conference first team, while midfielder
Sean Vona (Vestal, N.Y./Vestal) and forward
Arthur Jankowski (Mountaintop, Pa./Crestwood) were named to second team in a vote by coaches across the league.
Gibson, a senior from Reading, Pa., started all 15 games he appeared where he recorded one assist on the year from his defensive position. He also managed to get seven shots off on goal while anchoring the Colonel backfield.
Vona was tied for the team lead in goals with five and was second with 11 points on the year at the midfield position. The senior from Vestal, N.Y. had three game-winning goals on the year and started all 16 games he appeared in.
Jankowski started 15 games in his senior season, scoring two goals and a team high four assists for eight total points. The Mountaintop, Pa. native started as a forward after playing three years at the defender position.
The trio led Wilkes to an 8-9-1 record and a trip to the Freedom Conference Championships as the No. 3 seed. The Colonels won back-to-back contests on three different occasions and had a season-long three-game win streak.
