WILKES-BARRE - Wilkes University is proud to announce that Ryan Rebholz will be the new Sports Information Director for the University’s athletic department.

Rebholz is coming to Wilkes from Bloomsburg University, where he was the Intern/Assistant Sports Information Director for this past year. While at Bloomsburg, he served as the media contact for football, men’s and women’s basketball and baseball. He also worked closely with the softball team, which won conference and regional titles, advancing to the NCAA Division II Championships. Rebholz was also a major contributor in the redesign of Bloomsburg’s athletic website.

Rebholz received his Bachelor of Arts degree in Business Administration from Mount Union College in 2004. After graduating, he worked as a Research Assistant in the Archives and Information Center at the Pro Football Hall of Fame in Canton, Ohio for over three years. He then went back to school, and in 2009 received his Master of Science degree in Sport Management from East Stroudsburg University while serving as a graduate assistant in the Sports Information Office. Professionally, Ryan is a member of CoSIDA.

Rebholz will take on the full responsibilities of the Sports Information Director while at Wilkes, and will be the primary media contact for the athletic department. He currently resides in Allentown with his wife, Michelle.
