Anthony Dattolo moved up two spots to sixth at 149 in the latest individual national rankings

WILKES-BARRE – After posting a 27-13 win over nationally-ranked Dubuque at the National Wrestling Coaches Association (NWCA)/Cliff Keen National Duals in Cedar Falls, Iowa this past weekend, Wilkes University has moved up to 17th in the latest Brute-Adidas NWCA Division III rankings.

The Colonels had previously been ranked 19th in the nation.

Anthony Dattolo (Succasunna, NJ/Roxbury) moved up to number six at 149 in the individual rankings after winning all three of his bouts on Saturday. His most impressive victory came over then-seventh-ranked Jacob Groth of No. 2 Wartburg, winning 13-6.

The Colonels also split their four matches at the North-South Duals at Ursinus College on Saturday, beating Morrisville 55-0 and the Coast Guard 34-10.

Wilkes will host its first dual of the year as it squares of with East Stroudsburg University on Thursday. Start time is scheduled for 7:00 p.m. from the Marts Center.
