FIVE WILKES STUDENT-ATHLETES NAMED TO SPRING SPORTSMANSHIP TEAMS

ANNVILLE, PA – The Middle Atlantic Conference (MAC) recently announced its annual sportsmanship teams for the 2012 spring season and five Wilkes student-athletes were recognized.

The five Colonels/Lady Colonels to receive the honor were:

Baseball: Stephen Ruch
Softball: Maura Santarelli
Women's Lacrosse: Cassie Cronin
Men's Tennis: Steven Wilson
Women's Tennis: Ana English

The MAC Sportsmanship Teams include a player from each conference school who has demonstrated exceptional sportsmanship through their actions on and off the field during the season. The honorees are selected by the players and coaches from their respective schools.
