Wilkes began the day with a 59-0 victory over first-year program Mount Saint Vincent, then followed with a 35-7 win over Washington and Jefferson and 45-0 blanking of RIT to conclude the quad match. The Colonels are now winners of 14 straight dual matches dating back to mid-November. Wilkes used six forfeit wins in the match against Mount Saint Vincent to jump out to a 30-0 lead. Nathan White (Ellicott City, MD/River Hill) used a pin at 165 and Dustin Stough (Friendsville, MD/Northern Garrett) pinned his opponent at 174 as the Colonel advantage increased to 42-0. William Fletcher (Ottsville, PA/Palisades) claimed a 19-3 technical fall at 285 to seal the win over the Dolphins. In the match against Washington and Jefferson, Wilkes fell behind 3-0 after one bout. The Colonels responded with two straight major decision wins as Myzar Mendoza (Westminster, MD/Winters Mill) (133) and Jeff Peterson (Edison, NJ/Edison) (141) both earned extra point victories. Sean Lombardi (Newton, NJ/Kittatiny) continued the Wilkes momentum with a 6-4 decision win at 149-pounds. Stough and White added their second pins of the afternoon before Eric Bach (Newton, NJ/Kittatiny) claimed a 4-1 decision at 184 giving Wilkes a 26-7 lead. After a forfeit at 197, Fletcher's 3-0 decision gave Wilkes the 35-7 victory. In the final match of the day, the Colonels captured all ten bouts against RIT with five coming in extra-point fashion including three pins, a technical fall and major decision victory. Racciato and White pinned their opponents at 157 and 165 respectively. Stough earned a technical fall (15-0) and Bach added the third pin of the match at 184 before Matt Transue (Stroudsburg, PA/Stroudsburg) and Fletcher closed out the day with decision wins.
