EIGHT FORMER COLONEL WRESTLERS NAMED TO MAC ALL-CENTURY TEAM

ANNVILLE, PA – Eight former Wilkes University wrestlers were voted to the Middle Atlantic Conference All-Century Team as announced by the conference office Friday afternoon.

All eight of Wilkes wrestlers chosen were from the 1912-1974 MAC era. From 1976-2000 Wilkes was ineligible for selection to the all-century teams because the Colonels wrestled Division I in the EIWA. Voting was done by online fan voting with the MAC Sports Information Directors vote.

He was a member of the 1974 NCAA Division III National Championship squad and won the individual championship at 150 pounds.
